Chicago in Color

Neighborhoods, Nature & Everyday Icons

Take a small tour of Chicago with a pencil or marker. Chicago in Color brings together 40 distinct scenes for adults who live in the city, miss it, or like exploring its places. Bridges, the elevated train, lakefront paths, parks, architecture, and familiar foods each get a page. Every scene includes a short sourced city fact and a detail to notice, so you can look closely before choosing your colors.

  • Move among landmarks, nature, neighborhoods, and everyday icons without repeating the same view.
  • Find a small observation cue beside every scene, plus palette exercises and memory prompts.
  • Choose a compact 6 × 8 inch paperback or a printable PDF of the same 40 scenes.
