Do we need to read music already?
No. The book introduces simple patterns, counting and rests. An adult can read the prompts with a child. It is a coloring activity book, not a complete music course.
What should we color with?
Colored pencils suit the smaller details, and crayons can fill broader spaces. For markers, put a protective sheet behind the page. A blank reverse does not make paperback paper bleedproof. If printing at home, choose paper compatible with your printer and coloring materials.
Can we try it quietly?
Yes. Quiet and seated options are included, so you can adapt the activities to the moment.
